BoardIt Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026

BoardIt is a live sales board for car dealership teams. This policy explains what information BoardIt handles and what it never touches. It covers the BoardIt iPhone app and the BoardIt web apps at boardit.app.

BoardIt is owned and operated by Curtis Ringle. Questions about this policy or your data: curtis@boardit.app.

What BoardIt collects

BoardIt accounts are created by your store's manager, not by you. To run your account, BoardIt stores:

That is the whole list of personal information.

What BoardIt records about your work

When you log a deal, BoardIt records the unit, its category, whether it was a full deal or a split, and the time it was logged. Units and first names are the entire scoreboard.

BoardIt has no fields for customer information, no gross, no deal amounts, and no vehicle details. There is nothing in the system about the people who buy from your store.

What BoardIt does with your information

One thing: run the board. Sign you in, show your name and your units to your own store, and let your managers run the roster.

Where your data lives

BoardIt runs on Supabase, a managed database service, with access locked down per store at the database level. Sign-in code and invite emails are delivered through Resend, an email delivery service. Both act only as infrastructure for BoardIt and get nothing beyond what is described above.

The demo

The "Try the demo" store in the app is a built-in sample. It runs entirely on your device, needs no account, and sends nothing anywhere.

Your choices

Children

BoardIt is workplace software for dealership teams. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at boardit.app/privacy with an updated effective date.
